Unframe the mind to discover awareness

MindUnframed is a space for human beings to see through the mental constructs that shape their world.
To understand the mind with clarity, expand consciousness, and discover pure awareness beyond the mind.

- With the mind unframed, life can unfold without suffering -

The mind is like a lotus
Rooted in mud, rising through murky water, and opening in pure awareness above the surface.
With the mind unframed, the lotus blooms and suffering dissolves.

The mind The mind is a collection of mental processes. There’s no actual physical or even immaterial “thing” inside our heads that we can point to and say, “This is the mind.” All types of mental activity can be translated as The mind. The mental activity of experiencing life is "mind". Moment to moment everything changes from state to state and is accompanied by various mental factors. We are not victims of whatever life throws at us, we have a role in how and what we experience in life. Through training the mind, beings can radically transform their experiences. And with sustained effort, this positive change will become effortless. We are so caught up with experiencing life, that only few people are really aware of how the mind works and what the mind is doing in each moment. How aware are you of what your mind is doing? The mind is a dynamic and subjective continuum that encompasses thoughts, feelings and perceptions. Every being has it's own mind-stream to subjectively experience the states that change from moment to moment. To be aware of what happens in the mind in each moment is to be mindful of the mind's activity. The mind allows sentient beings to interpret the world and create meaning from experience.
"The mind is a beautiful servant, but a dangerous master."
Every living being has the capacity of the mind. The mind is a collection of mental processes that allows beings to interpret the world and create meaning from experience. The mind is a powerful tool, but it can also be a prison. By unframing the mind, beings can free themselves from limiting beliefs and open themselves up to new possibilities. To unframe the mind is to break free from the limitations of our own mental constructs and see the world as it is. The right view For beings who want to discover the right view, the mind has to be free from the constraints of its own constructs. To unframe the mind, the mind has to be open for new views. It has to discard all beliefs, assumptions and expectations to approach the mind with curiosity and wonder.
All that has the nature of arising, has the nature of ending.
Understanding the components that comprise a moment of our subjective experience enables us to deconstruct and unframe the moment. Such deconstruction methods help us to understand what others are experiencing and to interact with them in a compassionate way. This is best if you realize this truth: All sentient beings have feeling, these feelings come from experience, this experience comes from our senses. Without the senses, sentient beings would not have experience, and without experience, there would be no feelings. This principle is called interdependence. Senses are the gateway to experience, and experience is the gateway to feelings. In its rawest form the basics of all experience as human beings is: seeing colors hearing sounds smelling sents tasting flavors touching textures These are just signals, in their own they have no meaning, but when combined with the mind, they create experience. Moment to moment everything changes from state to state. The mind discriminates and interprets these signals. This is where things can get messy. The mind does not simply receive colors, sounds, scents, flavors, and textures. It interprets them based on past experiences, beliefs, and expectations. By discrimination it constructs objects, categories, boundaries, identities, intentions, threats, opportunities, narratives. This construction happens automatically and extremely fast. Unless you are mindful of what happens you never see "pure color". You see a car, a person, a problem, a memory, a mistake, a future scenario, a frame of the mind. The mind adds meaning to what is created in its own frame. A secondary phenomenon is generated by the mind and it creates judgement, emotions, preferences, aversions, desires, fears, expectations, comparisons, memories, fantasies. All of these are created by the mind and they are all based upon the mind's own creation. It validates and judges its own creation and this creates a story, a narrative, a belief, an identity, a self. Based upon this story, a reality is created. The mind fails to see that what is sees is nothing more than a reflection of the mind itself. This is where mindfulness comes into play. To be able to experience the world as it is, without the mind's interpretation, we must be mindful of the mind's activity. The mind doesn't just receive, it projects The mind: projects meaning onto colors projects intention onto sounds projects danger onto sensations projects identity onto ideas And then it reacts to its own projections as if they were external reality. It creates a loop: sensory input mental interpretation emotional reaction new mental interpretation new emotional reaction This loop can generate suffering even when the raw sensory input is neutral. Why does the mind do this? The mind is to create experience, to experience it has to create meaning. It is not to stay quiet. Meaning‑making is automatic. Interpretation is automatic. Projection is automatic. And automatic processes don’t care about your comfort.
